Leasing
a Renault EuroDrive car in Europe
is one of my great pleasures while traveling. The cars I have had – all are
brand new when picked up – have proven to be excellent, well equipped,
comfortable, dependable, fully covered by insurance. The preparatory service in
the USA as well as the service at pick-up and return of the car are, in my
experience, unmatched. The first time I used this unusual short term lease was
in 1976. For the past few years driving a Renault -
the Megane I favor is a superb midsize
car - has proven to be the answer to my travel needs. And because Renault is one
of Europe’s most driven cars, I know that should I ever have any need for
adjustments or repairs or just questions about the car, I would find a Renault dealer and garage service in any larger
town, regardless of the country I drive in.

What for me is so special about the Renault experience? Apart from the overall savings compared to any alternatives, and the good service, I appreciate the fact that I drive a new car with the latest equipment. When I discovered while driving on a very narrow lane in the middle of one of Europe’s old towns that the mirrors would fold in and out mechanically by flipping a switch, I was pleased because I did not even know that such convenience would be included in a reasonably priced lease vehicle. But even if not all cars have such luxury equipment, all Renault cars are a delight to drive. I know because I have driven some of the smaller models too.
